If you don't take care of yourself, your body will force you.
Now, I'm listening to me….most of the time the posts I do are "me reminding me" what's important for health. We all get carried away in the daily life stresses & trying to fit more in during the day no matter how late….shorting your self on a full meal cause their is things to be done or places to go.
Well early February, my body reminded me it's time to stop. My boy said he never seen me rest like that or be unwell….so ya it's been a while. A looooong while since I felt that way. My body was tired & sore….whatever virus that was,….was interesting.

Just because you don’t feel on point as a parent like you wished you did or used to.

Just because you feel like your career path doesn’t light your fire anymore.
Mental health can be effected by numerous things/factors. These are just a few things which can make people feel like they are in a "suffering state" as Tony Robbins would put it.

These last few years has felt like the world has been been dominated by Goliath. I'm sure, whether a believer or not, most people know of the story of "David & Goliath".
David conquered something far bigger than himself. Much much bigger. He went into battle with only 5 smooth stones. He came out a victor because of his 1 smooth stone but what wasn't seen was the armor of courage he had through his faith. He believed he would.
Now I don't know about you, but I do believe. I grew up going to catechism & saying the Lord's prayer before bed every night. Truth be told I barely understood much from my catechism because it seemed so deep with not enough for an elementary child to understand.
So over the years I drifted from what seemed was too hard to understand. But always had my faith intact because I have witnessed my prayers answered. However I was not giving enough gratitude to them as I rushed busily through life. Complacency really.
I'm sure like many the last few years, as we all spent time away from the things would have normally been doing, we've reevaluated much. I was also craving more peace. Ironically enough, at the beginning for this whole world changing event, I had a very odd sense of peace.

What in the actual heck happened to 2021?? I am really not sure. All I know is....I didn't get accomplished all I thought I would. That only means one thing,....there's more to do in 2022.
I don't know if you are in the same boat. But we can be honest here. We all usually have our reasons for not getting done what we had planned. Sometimes that are valid reasons. Sometimes it's because we didn't do it. Plan & simple.
What I realized though, is that many of those reasons the things you had planned to accomplish didn't come to fruition is because you likely didn't truly believe you could achieve it. Why? Why is it that many people, especially women, will set a goal & follow it up with a comment under their breath...."I guess....I will give it a go & see how far I can get. It would be super cool but I won't hold my breath though".
Can you hear it?? Can you hear the instant FAIL as soon as those words hit the air? Why?? Wanna know why?

This was one of my more pivotal moments in 2-3 years. It brought me back in touch with my faith & that God is in control & if we keep looking for the messages & guidance, it will present itself.
We just finished check the last field of the day that evening. Just as we got there, sky was dark & a downpour hit. We'd been praying for rain around here so we sat in the truck & enjoyed the loud thunder & rain pelting the truck.
When it passed, stillness.
Smell of the rain, ...amazing. The grass,...a brighter green. Air,....crisp but warm. Like a symbol of renewal.
