Is it really worth the swap from most store bought supplements??
Ever buy a supplement & wonder 💭 why you did,....because you didn't feel much different?
I did. 🙋‍♀️ (In all fairness, most of us quit taking them before we really give them a chance. Especially if we've treated our body's like an amusement park,....ride after ride with little maintenance.)
Now we all know you can't out supplement a bad diet. I don't even want to suggest anyone take anything if they are not going to take a closer look at what they are consuming. Don't waste your money.

That said,...when you doing a pretty fine job on the food department,...we still can't expect things to work or change things on a biological level over night. If we haven't been taking care of our body on a regular basis, no magic recipe will make it work instantly. Consider how long have you be been in a less than optimal state? If it's been a while, don't expect a couple weeks will get it done. Think 30-60 90 day time lines....so much rejuvenates in the body in those time lines.

Over the years I have read many labels. I have done lots of personal research & studies have guided me immensely. I have found lot of products are disappointing.  But I the ones I have evolved into using are from Young Living. These swaps have made very pleased.

So WHY does it matter that you can swap out your supplements with what you can get from YL?

From what I have found through my day to day life discoveries,.....a few reasons.

🪴Bioavailability.
What does that mean anyway? It means that what it is made of your body will be able to put to use. Like Calcium supplements that don't have a natural source or K2 or D3 with it. Your body won't be able to use. This is one of the biggest reasons I use YL, besides that my body & my husbands has shown they work. (Pre & post stem cell for him has been cad & point of why) The graphic below shows the stats/results of research 🔬 on how using essential oils in our supplements makes them available to the body.

𝑁𝑜𝑤 𝑊𝑂𝑊!
64% 𝑎𝑏𝑠𝑜𝑟𝑏𝑒𝑑 𝑖𝑛 30 𝑚𝑖𝑛𝑢𝑡𝑒𝑠
86% 𝑎𝑏𝑠𝑜𝑟𝑏𝑒𝑑 𝑖𝑛 60 𝑚𝑖𝑛𝑢𝑡𝑒𝑠
This is huge reason people don't feel a change when taking most store or Costco supplements.
But next are the other ingredients that are defeating the body as your trying to make it better. (I've read the labels of many like the ones below.... to find they have more that we don't want on th ingredient list than do.)

🪴No sugars.
This is one of my biggest pet peeves when it comes to vitamins or supplements. Not only is their 1️⃣ sugar listed....there is usually 2️⃣✖️✖️
Most of them are artificial like aspartame which is a major inflammatory, carcinogen, and immune system suppressor. They have also changed the names of sugar(s) so it can be a challenge to just understand the label 🏷 & what you're buying. Prime example below.....
It shouldn't be this way.
So here you are doin what you can do for your body to be the healthiest version of you.....Investing your $ 💵 for the manufacturer to mess it all up with defeating ingredients.

🪴No colorings.
So many colorings are ban in many other countries but US & Canada still allow them. They are carcinogenic & have major impact on the nervous & endocrine system. Sadly, they even use orange in pharmaceuticals used for behavioral concerns. Why would they be so cruel? They market to children with pretty/fun colors which makes me sad also. Children don't need more stimulation, suppression of immune system, etc. with food coloring in the things they consume.

🪴No fillers.
And by fillers I mean wood pulp....yes wood. They use it to bind the capsule. I'm pretty sure we don't need wood in our diet. Simple. Many companies try to use the rationale that it's just "cellulose". It's not at all the same a found naturally in vegetables for example. It's actually, Microcrystalline cellulose. It's refined wood pulp. Mineral acid is used to break it down to a white, free-flowing powder.  It doesn't degrade during digestion and has no appreciable absorption. So whatever it's in will not be absorbed much either! Plus it has a laxative effect, which if taken to much will also deplete the vitamins you just took that had it in it!
(To be fair naturally consumed veggie cellulose isn't water soluble either but you just consumed the veggie with all the wonderful added benefits of the balance of that veggie or fruit....not synthetically created wood product.)

🪴No preservatives.
There is no need for this. Our bottles are not huge bottles that need to last for years. What you're taking is natural ingredients so you're body will make use of it & you will be more inclined to use it. Or should be. So it won't have to sit on the shelf until you're ready to give it a try again to see if this time it works. The list of synthetic preservatives is long so please do your research. But a couple that I stay away from is BHT & sorbates.

🪴 No GMO's
These cause an inflammatory response in the body. Many studies have proven same. So where there is inflammation there will be "issues in your tissues" (as Dr. Wolfe would say). That is the snow ball effect of what will happen in the rest of your body. Common ones are soybean oil, modified corn starch, and maltodextrin.

There are more I could add to this list of what your supplements shouldn't have but you get the gist.  It also shows how making the swap to something your body will absorb & use is worth it for your health & your wallet.

Be a label reader! You will feel so much more confident & happy to know exactly what you are consuming.

My fav swaps have been:
 ✔️Store bought Vitamin C for Super C
✔️ Store bought B12 (usually cyanocobalamin) for Super B
✔️ Tylenol (it's actually toxic (Google it or check out this link for more)) for Lemon oil & Thieves
✔️ Centrum Multi Vitamin,(you can click here to see what a hot mess this one is) for Ningxia Red
There was a Clinical Trail completed on Ningxia Red with some wonderful results.
